This policy describes what information is processed when you visit sisyphosui.com (the documentation and showcase site for the open-source Sisyphos UI design system), and the choices you have about it. The short version: the site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and never asks for your personal details. The only data processing comes from standard website analytics and advertising services described below.

Information we do not collect

The site does not offer accounts, newsletters, comments, or any form that submits personal data to us. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. The interactive forms you see in component demos, blocks, and templates are non-functional UI examples — nothing you type into them is transmitted or stored.

Data stored in your browser

The site stores a small number of preferences in your browser's localStorage — for example your selected framework tab (React / Vue / Angular) and interface preferences. These values never leave your device, are not linked to your identity, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the documentation: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes device identifiers and truncated IP addresses on our behalf. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the documentation. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising — Google AdSense

To help fund the free, open-source development of Sisyphos UI, documentation pages may display a single, clearly labelled ad served by Google AdSense. As an advertising vendor, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads; where required, ads are non-personalized unless you have given consent. You can learn how Google uses data from sites like this one at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are used, and can decline or change their choice at any time.

Third-party links

The site links to external services such as GitHub and npm. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not apply once you leave sisyphosui.com.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone beyond the service providers named above (Google, acting as our analytics and advertising provider, and AWS, which hosts the site and keeps standard, short-lived server logs). Aggregate analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we hold no directly identifying data about visitors, most requests are best directed to Google via the links above; for anything else, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If the site's data practices change — for example if a new analytics or advertising provider is added — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date revised. Material changes will also be noted in the changelog.
